Before you start
Why does this work better than rereading?
Rereading makes notes feel familiar; recalling an answer without looking is what builds memory. Spaced repetition then asks you just before you would forget, which is the cheapest moment to lock it in. FlashDeck does both, and does the scheduling for you.
Does it make up facts?
The card writer is told to use only what is in your notes and to skip anything that is not study material. Every card shows its answer, so you can delete one that is wrong in a tap.
What can I paste?
Typed notes, text copied from slides or a document, a study guide, or a PDF of up to 20 pages (export slides as PDF first). One lecture at a time works best, up to 30,000 characters per upload.
How long does it take each day?
About ten minutes for most people. You set a daily goal, and the review only shows what is due.
Is there a free trial that charges me later?
